Storage/Stability

At least 6 months at -80°C. This protein is highly sensitive to freeze/thaw cycles.

Assay Conditions

The ELISA was performed by coating 100 µl of ACE2-Fc at 2 µg/ml in PBS at 4˚C overnight. The plate was washed in PBS and blocked with 200 µl of 1% BSA in PBS for 1 hour at room temperature. Increasing amounts of Spike Trimer BF.7/BA.5.2.6/BF.11 were added to the plate (serially diluted in blocking buffer). The plate was washed in PBS before adding 100 µl of AffiniPure Peroxidase-conjugated Anti-His-Tag antibody (Jackson Immuno Research #300-035-240) diluted 1:5,000 in blocking buffer for 1 hour at room temperature. The plate was washed with PBS and 100 µl of MB/E Ultra-Sensitiv HRP Substrate (EMD Millipore #ES022-500ml) was added for 5 minutes at room temperature. The reaction was stopped with 100 µl of 0.6N H₂SO₄ and read at 450 nm.

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage.

Screen or titrate anti-spike antibodies or inhibitors; use as antigen control in assay design and optimization.
