Bromodomain Screening & Profiling
The bromodomain (BRD) family members contain an evolutionarily conserved protein fold that specifically binds acetylated lysine residues. Many bromodomain-containing proteins, such as Type A histone acetyltransferases, are chromatin remodeling enzymes. Other bromodomain-containing proteins act as transcription factors to regulate gene activity. These acetyl-lysine ‘readers’ of the histone code are important regulators of development and normal biological processes. Many BRD proteins have been implicated in cancer progression, inflammation, autoimmunity, cardiovascular disease, as well as other conditions, and are now important targets for therapy.
We offer a selection of screening and profiling services for BRD targets to enable your drug discovery program. Our team of experts, using our in-house developed biochemical assay kits, will:
- Screen for BRD inhibitors from large compound libraries, measured by the disruption of ligand binding in an AlphaLISA® or TR-FRET format
- Compare potency with IC50 screens
- Answer your questions and guide your project in a timely manner
- Deliver detailed results promptly and on time

If follow-up studies are required, we can provide the same active proteins as the ones used in our assays.
