Recombinant human JAK2 containing the catalytic and the pseudo kinase domain (Just Another Kinase 2), encompassing amino acids 513-1132(end). This construct contains an N-terminal GST-Tag and a C-terminal Avi-Tag™ and was co-expressed with PTP1B. The recombinant protein was affinity purified.

Assay Conditions

Assay was performed according to TYR Phosphorylation Assay Kit (BPS Bioscience #79502), with both phosphorylated JAK2 (standard) and JAK2 titrated from 0 ng to 500 ng.

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
