Description

Complex of CDK6 and Cyclin D3 proteins. The two proteins were co-expressed and affinity purified.

Recombinant human CDK6 (Cyclin-dependent kinase 6), encompassing amino acids 2-326 (end). Recombinant human Cyclin D3 (also known as CCND3), encompassing amino acids 2-292 (end). Both constructs contain an N-terminal His-tag (6xHis).

Storage/Stability

At least 6 months at -80°C.

Assay Conditions

Assay was done in a Kinase buffer using Histone H1 (0.1 mg/ml) as a substrate with 20 µM ATP at 30°C for 60 min. The amount of ATP transferred was calculated using Kinase- Glo reagent (Promega).

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Applications

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
