Description

Complex of human PI3 kinase (phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase) catalytic subunit p110δ (also known as PIK3CD) and regulatory subunit p85α (also known as PIK3R1).

Recombinant human p110δ, encompassing amino acids 1-1044 (end), contains an N-terminal GST-tag. Recombinant human p85α, full length encompassing amino acids 1-724 (end), does not contain a tag. The proteins were co-expressed in Sf9 insect cells and formed a complex which was affinity purified.

Assay Conditions

Assay was done according to PI3Kδ (p110δ/p85α) Assay Kit (96-well) (BPS Bioscience #79799) with various amounts of PI3 kinase (p110δ/p85α).

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Applications

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
