Complex of recombinant human p110α (PIK3CA), and recombinant human p85α (PIK3R1). For p110α this construct is full length encompassing amino acids 2-1068(end) and contains an N-terminal Flag-tag. For p85α, this construct is full length encompassing amino acids 1-724(full length) with no tag. These recombinant proteins were coexpressed and affinity purified.

Assay Conditions

Assay was done according to PI3Kα (p110α/p85) Assay Kit (BPS Bioscience #79781) with PI3Kα titrated from 20 ng/rxn - 0.3125 ng/rxn.

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Applications

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
