Complex of human PI3 kinase (phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase) catalytic subunit p110α (also known as PIK3CA) and regulatory subunit p85α (also known as PIK3R1).
Recombinant human p110α, encompassing amino acids 2-1068(end), contains an N-terminal Flag-tag and mutation of interest H1047R. Recombinant human p85α, full length encompassing amino acids 1-724 (end), does not contain a tag. The proteins were co-expressed in sf9 insect cells and formed a complex which was affinity purified.
