Storage/Stability

At least 6 months at –80°C.

Assay Conditions

The reaction mixture contained 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 12.5 mM MgCl₂, 1 mM β-D-fructose-6- phosphate, 20 μM ATP, 2 mM DTT, 5 mM KH₂PO₄, and various amounts of PFKFB4 in a final volume of 50 µL. The reaction was incubated at 30°C for 30 min, the amount of ATP consumed was calculated using kinase-glo plus reagent (Promega).

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Applications

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.

Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Storing diluted enzyme is not recommended, if necessary, use carrier protein (BSA 0.1 – 0.5%).
