Description

The Human Thrombin was activated from homogeneous human prothrombin by activation with Factor Xa, Factor Va, and phospholipid. These activating enzymes were removed after activation. Complete activation was observed on SDS-PAGE. The above protein was purified from Human plasma units that test negative for antibodies to HBc, HCV, HIV 1/2, HTLV-I/II, and non-reactive for HBsAg, HIV-1 RNA, HCV RNA, HBV DNA and Syphilis by FDA approved tests. Donors are screened for CJD.
