Q: How do you guarantee the quality of storage?
A: Your dedicated cells will be stored in our standard liquid nitrogen storage containers alongside our current inventory of cell lines in a secured, ISO 9001:2005-certified facility.

Q: Does BPS Bioscience provide banking for my cell lines not purchased from BPS Bioscience?
A: No, we only provide banking of cell lines purchased from BPS Bioscience through the subscription plan.

Q: What if I lose track of when my subscription ends or how many vials I have left in my bank?
A: Our operations team will handle this information and you can request updates at any time using our Contact Form. Prior to the end of the subscription, our team will reach out to you to determine if you plan to renew the subscription or terminate it.

Q: Can I get a refund if I terminate early and decide not to use the cells?
A: This is covered in our Terms and Conditions.

Q: If I receive all my allotted cells within 1 year, can I get more vials by renewing the subscription?
A: Yes, since your subscription ends once your last vials are shipped, simply renew to get more vials of cells. The subscription can be renewed indefinitely or until the program ends.

Cell Line Subscription Terms & Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) that govern the sale of BPS Bioscience Cell Line Subscriptions. By placing orders for a Cell Line Subscription, customers agree to the Terms specified herein. Any other terms offered by the customer regarding the sale of these products must be agreed upon by BPS Bioscience and signed by authorized BPS Bioscience personnel.

1. Product Use and Restrictions. All cell line products from BPS Bioscience are intended for RESEARCH USE ONLY. Products sold under cell line subscriptions are subject to BPS Bioscience’s complete Terms & Conditions, in addition to the terms stated here.
2. Conditions. A cell line subscription is defined as the sale of an off-the-shelf cell line product plus a defined number of additional vials from the same lot to be delivered all at once or banked at BPS Bioscience headquarters in San Diego, CA for shipment at a later date, upon the discretion of the customer. Cell line subscriptions can only be ordered using an authorized quote from a BPS Bioscience representative. The subscription period is one year, meaning that the customer has one year from the date of purchase to request the allotted vials. Primary cells, iPSC, and iPSC-derived cells are excluded from the subscription program.

4. Licenses. The purchase of a cell line subscription requires a cell line license as defined here. If the customer already purchased the cell line in the past and has a valid license for the desired cell line subscription, then an additional license is not required.
5. Shipping. See our Terms & Conditions. For each requested shipment of banked cells, the customer is required to pay for the shipping and handling. Shipments can only be made to the original ship-to location specified on the initial order. Any changes to shipment location requires approval from a BPS Biosciences sales team representative.
6. Renewals and Subscription Termination. The subscription period is one year from the date of purchase or the date upon which all the cell vials have shipped, whichever comes first. The subscription does not automatically renew. At the end of the subscription, a representative from BPS Bioscience will notify the customer that the subscription is ending. The customer can choose to renew their subscription or terminate their subscription. If the customer cannot be reached or does not respond within 30 days, the subscription will be terminated, and any remaining banked cells will be forfeited. For subscription renewals, the cell vials may not be from the same lot as the previous subscription, but we can guarantee that all vials for the renewal will be from the same lot.
7. Cancellations. If the customer decides to cancel the subscription and forfeit any cells banked at BPS Bioscience, the subscription will be terminated. However, the subscription cost is not refundable.

9. Force Majeure. BPS Bioscience will not be liable for inadequate performance to the extent caused by a condition (for example, natural disaster, act of war or terrorism, riot, labor condition, or governmental action) that was beyond the company’s reasonable control. BPS Bioscience shall timely negotiate resolutions and remedial measures should these conditions lead to a loss of customer material.
