Assay Principle
The JAK2 Assay is designed to measure JAK2 activity for screening and profiling applications using Kinase-Glo® as a detection reagent, which uses ATP-dependent luciferase to measure available ATP in solution. As kinase activity increases, the available ATP in solution decreases, resulting in a corresponding lower luminescent signal. The JAK2 Assay Kit is performed in a 96-well format, using purified recombinant JAK2 enzyme, JAK2 substrate peptide (Poly(Glu;Tyr, 4:1), ATP, and kinase assay buffer.
