Solubility
Soluble in DMSO and DMF, purged with an inert gas. Solubility in DMSO and DMF
is approximately 1.3 mg/ml and 0.1 mg/ml respectively. For maximum solubility in aqueous
buffers, dissolve SBHA in DMSO then dilute with the aqueous buffer of choice.
Biological Activity
SBHA inhibits HDAC1 with an IC50 = 0.25 µM and HDAC3 with an IC50 = 0.3 µM.
