Assay Conditions

MMP-8 is activated in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM CaCl2, 0.05% Brij-35 and 1 mM APMA at 37C for 2 hours. Activity assay is conducted in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM CaCl2, 0.05% Brij-35 and 1uM 390 MMP substrate at room temperature for 30minutes. The fluorescence intensity is measured at exc328nm/em393nm.

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
