CDK7/CyclinH1/MNAT1, His-tags Recombinant
Complex of CDK7 (cyclin dependent kinase 7), Cyclin H1 and MNAT (MNAT1 component of CDK activating kinase).
Recombinant human CDK7, full length encompassing amino acids 2-346 (end), contains an N-terminal His-tag (6xHis). Recombinant human Cyclin H, full length encompassing amino acids 1-323 (end), contains a C-terminal His-tag (6xHis). Recombinant human MNAT, full length encompassing amino acids 2-309 (end), contains an N-terminal His-tag (6xHis). The three proteins were co-expressed in Sf9 insect cells and spontaneously formed a complex, which was affinity purified.

CDK7 gene is a member of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase family that is important regulators of cell cycle progression (1). CDK7 forms a trimeric complex with cyclin H and MAT1, which functions as a CDK-activating kinase (CAK). CDK7 is an essential component of the transcription factor TFIIH that is involved in transcription initiation and DNA repair. CDK7 is thought to serve as a direct link between the regulation of transcription and the cell cycle (2).
