Assay Conditions

Varying concentrations of MLK1 were mixed with 5 μg of MBP protein substrate and 5 μl of 250 μM [³³P]-ATP was added for a total volume of 25 μl. Mixture was incubated for 15 min at 30°C. Reaction was stopped by placing 20 μl of reaction onto phosphocellulose P81 paper. Paper was washed 3 times with 1% phosphoric acid solution for 10 min each and air dried. Radioactivity was measured from the P81 paper in the presence of scintillation fluid using a scintillation counter.

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
