ALK2 Kinase Assay Kit

Catalog #: 79605
Size: 96 Reactions
ALK2, also known as activin receptor-like kinase 2 (ACVRLK2) is a receptor from the TGF-β family of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases that plays an important role in the bone morphogenic protein (BMP) pathway. Mutation of ALK2 is seen to play a role in cancer and fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP).
The ALK2 Kinase Assay Kit is designed to measure ALK2 kinase activity for screening and profiling applications using ADP-Glo® Kinase Assay as a detection reagent.
Materials Required But Not Provided:
  • ADP-Glo® Kinase Assay (Promega #V6930)
  • Dithiothreitol (DTT, 1 M; optional)
  • Microplate reader capable of reading luminescence
  • Adjustable micropipettor and sterile tips
  • 30°C incubator
Activin receptor-like kinase 2 (ACVRLK2)
