Assay Conditions

Histone H3.1 was coated onto a 96-well plate, and methylation by G9a was carried out at room temperature for 60 min. Methylated Histone H3.1 was detected using Chemiluminescence assay.

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Applications

Useful as a substrate for histone methyltransferase and acetyltransferase assays. Ideal for screening small molecular inhibitors of histone modifying enzymes for drug discovery and HTS applications.
