Background:
Lys9 monomethylated histone H3 is associated with silent chromatin domains in euchromatin. This monomethylated state is also the preferred substrate for Suv39h1 and Suv39h2, the methyltransferases that catalyze Lys9 trimethylation.
Description:
Histone H3 peptide (a.a. 1-21), mono-methylated at Lysine 9 followed by a biotinylated Lys at its C-terminus.
UniProt
P68431
Synonym(s):
H3K9me1, Histone H3 Lys9me1

≥95% by HPLC
Supplied As:
40 µM in water (500 µl)
