Description

Recombinant full-length human CDK2 (GenBank Accession No. NM_001798), a.a. 2-298 (end) with N-terminal GST-tag, MW = 61 kDa, and CyclinA2 (GenBank Accession No. NM_001237), a.a. 174-432 (end) with N-terminal His-GST-tags, MW = 75 kDa. Both proteins were coexpressed in a baculovirus Sf9 insect cell expression system.

Assay Conditions

Kinase buffer containing 1 mM DTT using Histone H1 (0.1 mg/ml) substrate and 20 µM ATP at 30°C for 30 min. The amount of ATP transferred was calculated using Kinase-Glo reagent (Promega).

Instructions for Use

Thaw on ice and gently mix prior to use. DO NOT VORTEX. Perform a quick spin before opening. Aliquot into small volumes and flash freeze for long term storage. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
