Background

Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase is a key enzyme in glycolysis that catalyzes the first step of the pathway by converting D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) into 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate. Antibodies to GADPH are often used as "loading controls" because the enzyme is so ubiquitous.

Storage/Stability

Store at –20°C for up to 2 years. Centrifuge after first thaw to maximize product recovery. Aliquot to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Aliquots may be stored at +4°C for 1-2 weeks.
